We can't believe it that we have won. We never thought to become a winner in the final day. We just want to do our best but ended up being the best :) It was a great experience for all of us. We get to learn how to work with others and handling the stress due to limited time for the project (3 weeks) And we manage to do it in the end with a flow. London Global Campus was really worth it. We even get to met Maura Rauscher an opera singer and Joe Daniels a Young World Winning Enterpreneur they give us motivation to succeed.
It was really our last day for Global Campus Program and we are so nervous cause there are 7 judges in the panel one of them is the Chief Strategy Officer of athe (Awards Training and Higher Education) company in London, Joshua Jones. We have struggling with this project because of the brief. We have to connect our ideas with the brief somehow. But with the help of our supervisor, Sean Wilder we manage to finish our presentation slide and confidently present on that day. Here is our slide when we are presenting. In Friday, 4th Oct 2014 we are having a workshop with Marika Rauscher she was really funny and inspiring the way she spoke with her expression and even do some surprises. It was a really fun workshop. In the afternoon we have to show how are we going to present, its like an exercise before going on the final presentation. She will gave us advice to be more confident on stage and how to speak with body language and can communicate with the audience. It was really helpful and she gave us plenty of knowledge. We are in Greenwich where we can see London view from the top, it was really amazing and beautiful. Mehrdad our academic lecturer brought us here and give us a view speech to encourage and brief us a little bit about the final presentation. He described about our journey from the bottom where we don't know what will happen in front of us and we support each other in one team until we reach the top which is the presentation day. We are getting nervous cause we only have 6 days left until the presentation day on 7th Oct to work on our project. But we will do our best to finish everything on time and hopefully in the end we will finish the program with a smiling face :)
Today's discussion we are preparing for Wednesday's schedule where we have to present about our project to another supervisor (Luigi) cause our supervisor (Sane Wilder) won't be able to attend tomorrow.
After a meeting with Mr. Mehrdad Borna, the team decided to research another possible direction for the project.
Company names: glos Vision: to make people interact and form a bond between each other in a creative and fun way. Mission: to build communications and teamwork between family and friends. Our new topic: smartphones geek. Its related to the communications campaign and social media solution or behaviour change in the brief. Problems: people start to make their own world when they playing with their smartphones. When we are bored we can play games, chat, or just watch movie. So we start to loose interest with our surrounding. It leads to lack of communication between family and friends. For example: we gathered with family or friends at dinner and we eill get busy with our smartphones rather than talk to each other more. Campaign name: talk more, type less. (But its already used by skype campaign. So we need to think for other names. Which include "fun" or "interactive" word. We aim to solve lack of communications due to excess use of smartphones by providing an interactive games application ehich help family and friends accomplish social problems. We are relevant because it helps people to interact and form bond between each other. How the games application works? Connect minimum 2 smartphones with bluetooth within 2meter range. It can played offline. So its like a puzzle using your smartphones and others. Target: family, friends, corporation (sponsorship for a new games) |
